  1. I did something really similar with a keitech. I just reeled it in really fast just under the surface and big old largemouth slammed it. Same exact experience, thought it was strange. Did it again, same result. Now it's just something I do. Gonna have to try it with a tube this year.

  2. I add a catfish bait to the inside of these baits and fish the bottom of moving water, hard not to bring home a bunch of channels or flatheads this way. I pinch a small hole in tip of bait then use an old caulking tube filled with the bait to fill the tube with as any air pockets can be released out of that small hole as you insert the catfish bait…just a thought..
