Appreciate BASS for recognizing the history of the sport/BASS. I went to the Classic Day 3 weigh in and the big screen presentation was cool.

Crazy to think that I was just a 2 year old back then and my Dad had brought me to that exact weigh-in some 45 years ago. How so much has changed with the sport now since then! The boats/motors, rods/reels, baits, payouts not to mention that back then they used to primarily focus on the green ones on the St. Lawrence and now you won't even cash a check there unless you're bringing in a 20+ lb bag of smallmouth. I wonder what kind of look you'd get if you had told Bo Dowden that the money he won from that event would be a decent down payment on a bass boat 45 years from then lol. Crazy to see these old commercials. I feel like most of all the commercials today. They are all the same thing like all the car commercials or just the car driving around all the pill ones are to all the same.
