We put our little boat into one of our favorite ponds on the last nice day of the year, and we find monster crappie and big bluegill….any just as the day is about to end, the fish of my dreams comes along…

Are you aware that the fish in these lakes are as big as they are or is it by chance ? If so do you have to pay to fish at these lakes ? On short I love watching you you tube channel and I am definitely not a outdoors women lol ! Scared to death of worms ! Keep up the good work 😅

That's a beautiful BlueGill @ 9:01 why would someone want to use that for CATFISH bait ?
My third great-grandfather's take me to a place in Illinois it was in laharpe Illinois that when you put them facedown in a 3-gallon bucket there was still about four-and-a-half inches hanging out of the bucket these bluegill humongous is a good meal and they off of mealworms caught out of a manure pile I know because I had to dig them out
The one in the thumbnail is definitely a hybrid between bluegill and green sunfish. They call it a green-gill. You can tell by the green streaks (in place of the light blue lower lip/gill) and the best indicator is a yellow/orange outline on the soft fins. I cqn just barely see it on that guy but only green sunfish have that colorful outline.

Damn that took something special to turn that monster bluegill back. I've released trophy bass but I woulda had a hard time releasing that fish. The way you handle them , I'm surprised you're able to get pictures or video at all !! LOL It's like you don't expect them to jump at all !! 😂
