Increment 8:26 – Nope not going to be fishing while its lightening. When i was a kid a tree 100 yards away exploded from lightening while i was fishing during a thunderstorm.
Randy I know this off point but I saw the debate with Ben Milliken, want ya to know I’m subbed to ya both but I was little turned off by Ben in his debate with you for several reasons. I wish he would have acknowledged your wishing a good season next year…
What about after raining and fishing warmer run off at the back end of creeks.
Randy has it gotten to where guys can’t or don’t think they can catch bass to compete without all the 30 thousand dollars worth of electronics , can guys not read the land , points , breaks , flats , structure, grass etc. to compete, is this where our sport is going , If so it’s pathetic , what happened to the “ FISHERMAN “ if all that bullshit is ok then why ban the A Rig , why ban certain baits , why ban any dam thing , then just let it be open rules with all these electronics that’ll just pinpoint fish for you , maybe I’m missing something and I’m always up for learning my craft but I DO NOT AGREE with all this forward , backwards, side side Or whatever bs , in my personal opinion these young up and comers it’s not gonna make them a better TRUE fisherman, it’s like a dam video game
Great info, thanks.
Is there any chance you might make some Solar Bat sunglasses that will fit over my glasses. I'd buy a pair or two if you did. Just sayin'.
Watched that podcast you did with that Ben guy. The guy was not being rational in his arguments about conservation or technology on top of talking over you at times.I thought that was rood.
Maybe a sprinkle otherwise I don’t fish in the rain👍
This is the kind of stuff I'm most interested in. Thanks for the knowledge.
The biggest bass I've ever hooked and got to the boat was during a time when it had rained every day for about 3 weeks, the lake was out of banks,it was raining so hard my bilge pump couldn't keep up
I’ve noticed that as well. When I can actually get out and fish a cloudy day during or after a rain, the bite is dead. I figured this out a year ago. Thanks for confirming that for me. Everyone on YouTube talks about cloudy days and how good they are. Honestly I’ve caught more fish on sunny days in places they wasn’t supposed to be than on cloudy days.
I thought maybe you could do a video on fisherman with way too many lures. If that’s a possibility lol I believe sometimes that it’s almost like a sickness, or obsession. The amount of tackle that I have, and probably most fisherman could possibly be considered over the top, but I do enjoy shopping for fishing tackle. I would love to hear your perspective on this topic.
Randy, thanks for the videos. Have learned a lot from you. I don't understand why anyone would watch a video simply to complain about the content. You content has help my fishing a lot.
I agree with you 100% Randy my favorite time of the fish is right before for the storm call front or bad weather and if it has been raining for a couple days fission just sucks if it’s misting light like you said cloudy I’ve had some great days like that
"Tap" Tapply, the fishing editor for Field and Stream back in the 60's and 70's wrote that the only time you could count on bass biting was during a steady rain. Of course, that's turned out not to be true, but it ruined me for enjoying fishing in the rain. I fish in the rain because it's ingrained in my boyhood head.
I watch the weather closely and pick the days that’s it’s cloudy or even overcast completely this is when I go
I agree completely, wash outs are horrible , light rain on the day ur there right before the front it’s hammer time
The bass may get turned off by rain everywhere in the country but here in the Pacific Northwest the bass would starve if they didn’t bite when it’s raining.
I've had some good tournament finishes on rain days. I've never minded fishing in the rain. No pleasure boats:)
dude you're on fire 2 videos today, taking notes!
My best crankbait day ever, it was snowing!
