The Biggest Bass I’ve Ever Seen in Person

Winter bass fishing is a grind—cold water, slow bites, and plenty of patience for that one big fish.

My buddy Max crushed it, landing a monster over 8.5 lbs plus a few solid swimbait catches, and even a smallmouth on a Huddleston—definitely not something you see every day.

I stuck to swimbaits most of the day with little luck, then switched to finesse tactics and managed two fish to save the day.

Tough conditions, lots of grinding, but witnessing days like this is why we keep coming back.
