We went into the Elm Fork of the Trinity River expecting a tough bank and wade fishing session, but the river had other plans. 5 hours in the mud for a day we’ll never forget. My brother, who hasn’t caught a bass in years, landed a 5.64lb Largemouth— toppling the standing official record of 5.58lbs.

But then it gets weirder when my other brother catches the EXACT same fish I landed 3 hours earlier. 4 fish in the net, but 5 SLAPS on the board! See the VIEWER SLAPS at the end, and stay for the micro dinks that flopped us over the finish line.
