The Big Skinny (Bass Fishing)

Impromptu bass fishing in my farm pond. I caught the big guy, but he (she) looks too skinny. Is it the heat, lack of food or what? I hooked a lot of bass, but several came off before landing them. I had enjoyed the time out there anyway.
