Is this different than stroking a jig?
They will do the same thing when yo-yoing a chatterbait. I’ve caught more BIG bass jerk hopping a chatterbait off the bottom than any other method. Granted you catch MORE bass with a regular retrieve but there is something about that quick hop that absolutely triggers big bass.
Hamm, do you need to say? Boom, Boom every time, / setting down on a slack line, well give it a pengling, motion, I fish walleye's bumping rock's, and feeling the bottom all my life, almost, just love jig's
