Post spawn bass fishing can be tough since most of the fish are just trying to recuperate after the spawn but fishing topwaters for post spawn bass is an excellent way to catch some big bass! Topwater fishing for post spawn bass has quickly become one of my favorite techniques for post spawn bass fishing because I can cover water but also entice lethargic fish into biting. These 4 topwaters are some of the best topwaters for bass and my favorites to throw for post spawn bass as you can work them slowly. 1. Im up in Ontario Canada and my tourney partner and I throw bluegill pattern topwater frogs and
live target dying bluegill frog lure and we smash em late June to Mid July.

  2. Pittsburgh rivers eh? I'm about 45-ish minutes away from Pittsburgh. Anyways I'm going to be buying a dedicated topwater rod…and I've heard braid works best for that. What lb braid do you recommend as like a good all arounder for topwater? Because I have that feeling my luck with the Jack Hammer is probably going to start to run out as it get consistently hotter or maybe not who knows with my sweet spot of water. Thanks for the tips and information…I always look forward to an upload always plenty of stuff to learn!

  3. Wow!! Very informative video!!👊🏻 Thanks for sharing as I learned a lot more about the spawn & post spawn. What rod & line do you use for these baits? Thanks again!!!!👍🏻 Stay Safe & God Bless!!!

  4. I live in PA as well. I literally just purchased a dedicated frog setup and a few vega frogs. I also previously bought that same smithwick prop. I also have a topwater set up with a white popper. your video is spot on. One word of caution with that cat walk lol hold on to your rod specially if there are biggie toothy critters because that bad boy can and will catch bigs. I love bone and ghost bone minnow colors. Very well done video!
