The Best Lake To Flip & Punch Grass For Big Bass

Punching grass has quickly became my favorite way to catch bass. I am lucky to have many grass lakes in driving distance from home, but there are a special few. Welsh is on the top of that list for me due to the clear water hydrilla playground that it offers anglers willing to prevail over a lake that easily gets over 100 degrees in temperature! The grass grows in thick mats out to 15 feet of water to make it somewhat unique to Texas lakes that normally have shallower grass mats due to water clarity being lower. This video is a great example of why I am talking this lake up as it wasn’t even a really good day for Welsh standards. Enjoy!
