  1. I donโ€™t trust white people. When I just started fishing One bum sporting good worker gave me all his preference on rod and line and my buddy met me later at the store and asked me why Iโ€™m buying such cheap and garbage pole and rod. I told him this worker said these were good. He told me those are cheap AF and not good

I've caught bream, seatrout up to 29", red drum up to 40", tarpon up to 50", flounder, sheepshead, black bass, catfish, …..
It will last 10 years if you treat it poorly….a lifetime if you're nice to it.

  3. Slammed my abu Garcia 6'6" rod in a door, older guy at cabela's(bass pro shops) handed me the $75 medium action 7" rod, only used it once so far and damn its nice, especially for the price. Said his buddy caught a master Catfish on that thing and still didn't break, giving it a shot

  4. you would not believe the fish you can catch on ultralight let alone medium power rods people get a Ultralight put some 8 pound braid with a 6 pound mono leader and have a blast catching giants

  5. Everything is quite a broad spectrumโ€ฆ!
I know for a fact you didnโ€™t catch a tuna or marlin on that rodโ€ฆ! When you say everything,.. you need to back it up ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  6. do you have a video for people who do have money to blow and are looking for a rod that can catch tuna but also small guys from a boat ? Or shore once in a while ? I guess its a hard question, im a beginner and would really like to have just one rod or you say that's impossible ?
Thank you sir. Your videos are very clear !

  7. Should you do it not so much if it has a rod reel and line it's a fishing pole fish with it it takes so much time on water to feel and be able to use the difference in a marketing scheme

  8. This is similar to what i have. I got this type of setup for almost all types of freshwater fish setups. I go for 7ft-8 fishing pole and 2500-3000 reel. Super simple using 6-10lb line and its great simple setup

  9. 5 years later, I bought a fishing rod, i never saw this video, but luckily my ROD is in perfect spec to what you're showing today, 6ft5in – Medium – Light weight

  10. This guy's not going to answer any questions like he said he would. He has since the video was posted. That should be obvious. The rod he has is a 7 foot medium action. It looks very similar to a Ugly GX2 I have . It's around $50 and plenty strong enough. Im not sure what reel he has. It's a 3000 size . There will be at least be a 3 on the reel. I would get a reel with at least 10 lbs of drag. You may do ok with a weaker one. Depending on how you use the drag. Use the type of line recommended. You can double it with braid. Lews has a couple of really good reels for around $45 now. LZR PRO 3000 and the Lews Smash 3000. Both have plenty of drag and bearings. They have everything that $100 reels have. You can definitely go a little cheaper. Kastking makes some very good equipment. Almost everything is made in China these days. No matter who owns the company.
