As a nw Arkansas resident, and fan of all y'all. I think you made the correct choice.
No one watches bassmaster anymore
Have a safe trip home. Weather this year in North Texas has either been arctic air, gale force wind, or rain. I think every time I've been to Mountain Home in the spring it has stormed either in practice or the tournament. They get a lot of severe weather up there.
But I love fishing there.
Better safe than sorry. Anglers first. The sport is the anglers.

That person that won the event must have been claravoiant how does one finds 18+lbs in just one day when 98% of the field were 13 to 10lbs. Please think about that run this thru your house mates in my opinion this guy has to be polygraph not once but twice. Glad everyone is safe.

Don't know if you'll pay attn to this, but right now find a high area and stay there. I live on Bull Shoals and we (the locals) stay put and ride it out. Be safe! I don't think you're making the right move. The way back east is going to take you over the Black River and that bridge is low to the water. But it's your trip…
Be safe, and I really love the hat. As a father of a St. Jude patient, it means a ton to see it. I wouldn't have my son today if it wasn't for God and St.Judes hospital.
Pretty hard to fish those floating docks if your trolling motor can't keep up with them.

I spoke with a friend of mine yesterday and he told me of a weather report he heard calling for 3- 15 inches of rain. I'm glad he lives on a hill. He lives in the middle of Kentucky.
