The Bass Fishing World is Exploding

There are so many people that keep up with professional bass fishing that are so mad right now. Why are they mad? Competitive bass fishing has made a big change in recent years. The youth are taking over in the professional bass fishing scene and a majority of the experienced anglers….have not adapted. Lets talk about it!

  1. You are witnessing the end of real bass fishing that requires experience and skill. The youth part of this is just like the youth have been taught, they have been taught entitlement and they deserve instant gratification without working for it.

It's all about the money. The older guys that are pushing for FFS are just agreeing to their pro fishing career demise. On the current path, within a short period of time, watch who gets all of the sponsorships. Will it be the very good skilled fishermen with 50k social media followers or the young dudes that know very little about fishing and good with electronics but have 1M social media followers? Exactly! It's all about marketing and the money, it's no longer about the sport.

Technology is making people dumb, lazy, dependent and incompetent!

  2. My wife and I roll in from fishing turn on tube and guess what, my man Jimi has made a video from the lake I just left!😅 Great point ! Everything changes. I left high school and spent 2 years learning a trade that was obsolete in 5 years. Had to roll with the punches and move on. By the way I scoped for 3 hours at that lake today, didn't get a bite. Lol

  3. I agree with what you are saying about you have to adapt to compete. But my worry is how far do we let technology go in the sport of bass fishing.
The capabilities of technology can be devastating if not regulated.
