I know the secret, it's time on the water and a good memory. I know this because some days I smack them and some days I can't catch a cold
I live in CA and mostly canyon lakes, but I still apply some of your tips to my situations. I have noticed most of the bass fisherman fish really fast. I fish slow with relatively good luck.
Randy, I watch a lot of your tutorials and like them.
Bro, after living here for 18 yrs in East TN and I'll tell you something you can take to the bank.
Between talking to people I meet at the lake, or who I work around, or even chatting at Bass Pro, about fish caught on what and at what time. …….As soon as one mentions Megabass, or any high end stuff, half the time, IMMEDIATELY it's " I ain't never give no twenty goddammit dollars fer no fishin' baits !!! You can do just as good with them there dollar ninety nine XPS lures "
OK Skeeter McWifebeater.
Some folks just gonna ride that horse to work in the rain, don't need no newfangled car.
I've tried other baits . Occasionally I catch one on a rapala . Mostly use my Texas rig on 10# line on a zebco 33 reel , mh rod . My pb 9.5# bass was caught on it .
This dude is such a weasel, can not believe he has that many followers. U should make a video on how to pull ur boat plug and sink ur boat in order to gain access to water your competitors can't get to. Is that a "art form" also? Sinking ur boat to gain a competitive edge.
Guys that talk crap couldn’t answer those questions unless it was provided by their ffs and tech
If they knew so much they wouldn’t be watching your videos to learn lol
Mic DROP!!!
Randy I agree with you completely. The ones that know it all didn’t have a wise grandfather like me he told me at a young age keep your mouth shut and ears open
Even if I (think) know something, it's reassuring to hear you tell me that it works. That being said, I know very little. Please continue sharing your wisdom and secrets, I'm here for it!
Hilarious! I’ll bring aquatic engineers and scientists with me next time I go
Keep it going Randy I’m still learning at 79
The difference between a pro and amateur is the remarkable attention to detail. Lots and lots of details.
That's why I struggle at times with Randy's tip videos. The minute details can seem overwhelming. I just figure if I keep at it and keep absorbing it then I can slowly but surely make use of it.
Everyone knows deadly black shad only works on thursdays during a leap year in 61° water under the shadow of a Northern Spotted Owl in gin clear water with eel grass no more than 11" long on sand flats on the west side of a river that's got current generated from a power plant that hasn't changed their flux capacitors since 1986, sparsely scattered nimbus clouds are helpful, 8 lb Berkeley transitions fluorocarbon using the Rapala knot on a 6'9" LIGHT medium heavy rod with a 6.3:1 reel with at least 6 bearings. Cast at a 37° angle relative to the current jerk jerk pause 3 seconds jerk pause 7 seconds and hold on! Thank me later, now that was smallmouth, for largemouth just deadstick it.
I know the most important thing about bass (or any other fishing) fishing. Things change every day and you have to change/adjust what you're doing to be successful. I was lucky enough to have met Bill Dance years ago. I made the comment to him that he was probably the most knowledgeable bass fisherman there was. He said no, I do know a lot, but I learn new things everyday. He said that he loves talking to "weekend warriors" because he can pick up new info/techniques that he didn't know. In other words, keep an open mind and don't be afraid to try new things.
Hey Randy I have met so many bass angler's who think they know it all . And the bottom line they don't know diddly squat they think because they have a 70 thousand bass boat that they know it all. For example I talking to an angler this past summer and this guy Randy was telling me that he doesn't use a wobble head in Missouri and after we were finished talking I said to myself he's either bsing me or he is a knuckle head. This is the perfect terrain in Missouri to use a wobble head and he's only limiting himself. Some guys are so stubborn that they won't try something different to show the fish . And couldn't believe how arrogant this guy was I felt like I was back in New York. And ANYONE WHO THINKS they know everything about fishing you know that guy doesn't catch anywhere near the amount of fish that a versitile fisherman I'm almost 60 yrs old and Randy I have no where near the knowledge that you have. Ps always appreciate what you do for us Randy you are such a humble man and you seem like a really nice person it's always a pleasure listening to you and your educating us . God bless you and your family.
Randy, Any tips on how I might convert from Livescope to a sun dial? Can I use the same mounting hardware?
Don’t pay it no mind Randy. Those omega/ beta males leaving negative comments are first and foremost immature. 2nd they are not leaders of anything and have zero to contribute. 3rd they post comments in order to hopefully gain acceptance from one of the few alpha fishermen that disagree with you. Simply put they’re life losers
They're not gonna stop. Some are just trolling, that's the internet. Others are just morons with social media so they think they need to share every single thought, is what it is. I get that it can be tough but try to ignore it. And also remember that even if they're dumb they are still active on your page. "Lure" them in and let them fight where you get paid for it. For what it's worth, aren't one of us that are here to learn making the mistake of listening to them. It's clear you've put in the work and I haven't seen anyone as much a perfectionist (that's not a bad thing) as you are about fishing. Hell, just look at your tackle room. It's that quality about yourself, as well as others, that bring us here. There is NOBODY else providing the type of in depth content that you are, DO NOT forget that
Good to see you get out of that drabby room and into your vehicle for this video. I’m guessing you were on a trip to Lowe’s to get paint sample cards to use as titles for your next lure color choice videos?
Total wisdom on this channel when it comes to choosing the right colors. As soon as McDonald’s starts selling shamrock shakes in prespawn, I’m going to get some of that secret green dye like you suggested in your video titled “When Shamrock Shake Colors Produce Best”.
Randy keep making your videos. You offer us so much insight and information. Thank you so
Selling lures to unsuspecting fisherman is an art form also. Keep moving product is the motto and get people to spend money on lure colors is very expensive for the fisherman and profitable for influencers who get paid to sell lures.
