Is this the one where you were at Heath lake? Me and my brother in law went after bluegill and shell cracker. I had a bass steal a bluegill off my hook on the side of the lake that has the car in it… We only found ONE bluegill bed on the main part of the lake but as we were coming back out we found all the bluegill on that side where the spillway is at… We only caught 2 full blooded shell cracker the whole time and we found some beds in really deep water by the rip rap. They were in about 10 feet of water, I caught a bluegill/shell cracker hybrid over there… That was by far the deepest bluegill beds I’ve ever seen… My brother in law could just barely make out the white spots on the bottom… We didn’t know it was you until we saw your truck… That’s a nice looking rig you got there… I’ve got a kayak myself since then… I haven’t been out in it yet though…
The first two weeks of may was the best fishing I have ever had. Spinner bait and green pumpkin magic 8 inch lizards.
Funny you say that about the white whacky worm, I was catching them super good on a strike king worm that was white on the bottom and then like watermelon on the top, I crushed a ton of dinks on it and lost me a good oe😅
Hi, Im in middle Georgia myself.. Great info my friend.. What were u about to say about mayflies? I fish at Sinclair, and Julliette.. going to Blackshear this week.. whats the best bait in May for that dark water? Thanks..!
what about west coast like California
Love that Kastking Kestrel BFS reel and Kestrel rod!
Yo zuri pencil popper looks like that pencil bait you were suggesting
Could you please send a picture of your net set up. Thank You! Love your channel! Trying to set up my PWR life keeps giving me set backs.
I really dont know how to identify which bait fish are spawning on my lake. I wish I did… The bass have spawned here already. where Im at in south LA . Im pretty sure the bluegill are spawning now, although im not positive. But I have no idea when or how to know if shad are spawning. I just got in actually, caught about 20 small ones today on zoom craw Jr. and not one over 1.5lb.
You should be using the Kastking lines now.
This man said my key word… NED RIG!! Its mid May and its catching bass every trip out
I wonder how these would work at real foot tennessee and the Kentucky aka the tennessee river
Hey man i don’t know if you remember me but i seen you in food lion i think it was in armurchee ga but you gave me some stickers and we got a photo just to let you know I love your videos❤❤❤
Great tips. I always wanted to try a white senko but I never see them at any of the tackle stores…GO DAWGS !!!
Don't forget about Cicadas. This year especially.
Man! Either you got heartburn worse than my wife or you gonna have to lay off the peppers. 😂
Triming down?
Looking trimmed down and 5 years younger my friend, Video seems a little different then normal but still a great video…. I’ve been off the water for a couple years with a failed back surgery and a second one to right the wrong! ….. With that said I’ve been back on the water the last couple week and really struggling. I haven’t thought about the things you mentioned so thank you! FYI I bought a Cast King reel and actually like it, it’s really smooth little fast for my style of dragging a worm but I’ll get it!
Killer video Gene ! Tons of tips in this one . Very much appreciated
Great info. Just joined the KBF KNUKLHED challenge under TEAM FLUKEMASTER.
Great information thank you
Bluegills and shad are absolute winning profiles to imitate. Anywhere anytime
BFS Medium light rod and 4 inch wacky senko my favorite combo 🔥🔥
