My favorite Central Kentucky winter crankbait is the Wiggle Wart.
little help randy- color suggestions
Matt and Tim from Tactical Bassin collaborated on a deep diving speed crank that is money in cold water!
DT 6 is money on Norris in cold water
You should do a collaboration with Ben Milliken! He could show you how to use "Live scope!" So you can stop being angry people that have become more successful than you! You always argue about the purity of the sport. You were successful when the tech changed as well! Just don't like being out fished, because you're not will to learn the new tech!
Like you content Randy. But your inability to adapt to live scope is holding you back from placing in the top 30. You shit on the technology that's allowed!. But you don't want to use the new tech for your advantage! You're a sour old dude that isn't willing to adapt! And that's your own fault!
I'm subscribed and really enjoy the videos. I fish Ray Roberts Lake (Texas). If there's a ever a lake review I'll buy it. That sucker is a mystery box the last 10 years
Man, your shop is organized!
He's right about the Megabass Flapslap. I lost a 4 lber. at the boat this weekend. I had forgotten that I owned them.
From what I have learned is that water tends to get clearer as it gets closer to fall, so if you're fishing shallow into winter, then cover/structure is essential. Clear water fishing is such a difference from tannic or muddy water fishing, and here in VA we definitely get the water clarity cycle
Good choices Randy.👍👍
Thanks for sharing this information.
I have all the baits, except the flapslap…..but, I can't figure out what color that is. There's nothing in their colors that looks like that.
Thanks for the tip.
I am in Polk County Fl. I am fishing a Black Friday derby…..I will use my DT6. I use it year round here. The more I hear Randy talk the more I remember….His view of fishing is nothing new guys….He has just put the time in and mastered the ways of a true Professional angler…..I had the privilege of growing up with guys like Randy on the TV. Yall need to take notes, Just sayin!
Thanks Randy! Good stuff as always!
Hello Randy, what gear ratio reel do you typically use for crank baits in cold water? Thanks
I'm dissapointed you didn't have a Cotton Cordell 'Big O' on there . . . deadly shallow crank in winter.
What about the Shad rap ?
Great video buddy. I like them all.
I moved to Arkansas from wisconsin. Its quite different fishing here. Im only 4 min from norfolk so i have spent all of my days here so far . I appreciate randys videos there a big help not use to being in 60 feet of water 10 yards from shore. Y'all have a great thanksgiving.
👍
Good stuff Randy thanks. Just wanted to say that son is growing. What kind of nitrogen are you putting on that boys feet lol?
Classic “there’s just something about it” randy
Thanks for the tips I will give them a try soon 🎣 Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving!
I'm really looking forward to hearing about your suggestions for what works in clear water in the winter time. Ouachita is clear as can be and has been for a long time. I'm limited as far as which bodies of water I can fish and all of these local lakes are pretty clear. Even during rain events, most of the lakes stay clear as a bell. Thanks for the info. 👍🇺🇸
I used a crayfish pattern DT6 and experimented with different retrieves throwing out towards a bridge pier and caught a couple of nice bass this way in October!! Thanks for sharing these tips with us Randy and congratulations on getting 110K subscribers!!
