  1. What part of TX is this? North, central, east or south? Here in DFW its been cold and the fish have been deep and I don't have a boat. Been itching to go fishing so bad. Went trout fishing in Oklahoma a couple weeks ago and did really good but I don't have the money or time to drive up there every weekend would be nice to start slaying the sandies again on the fly rod

  2. The only problem I have with your theory is that white bass don't make beds like you say. They spawn on top of the water, usually in swift moving waters. They'll also spawn for 3-4 months. They're more than likely prespawn feeding to build up reserves for all of the energy expended trying to breed with multiple females, fighting for position with other competing males, and fighting swift currents.
