I now live in Texas and have been fishing Rayburn but my biggest smallmouth is 6.25 caught when I lived in NY the smallie was from the1000 Islands area…
7.3 lbs. Live in Illinois. Caught in northern Wisconsin.
Live 30 minutes from Lake Fork, my "home" lake. So theres been 43 years of big fish joy, including sharelunker #93. Biggest smallmouth is 6 lbs on dropshot, out of Ft Peck in NE Montana. Maybe the most remote lake in the lower USA! Virtually no pressure -Unbelievable fishery. Just be carefull throwing 1.5 or 2.5 squarebill, likely get wrecked by 40" northern!

I live in southern ontario. Biggest smallmouth is a 7 lber from Erie just out from Buffalo New York. Put 2 that size in the boat that weekend

Live in Texas. 2.75 at Broken Bow OK. Only caught one elsewhere, Grapevine, but it was tiny. Super fun to catch.

A few 7โs and too many between 5-7 to count. Erie in November is when ALL of the biggest were caught. Iโve caught a bunch over 5 at St Clair also. Lake St Clair is my favorite place to fish, but they are just not quite as big as Erie. I live in Ohio- Go Bucks!

Biggest smallmouth is 5.2 lbs at Pickwick. Caught several nice smallmouths a couple years ago at Belton near Temple, Tx but no big ones. I live in Lake Charles, La.

5.0, and 4.86 at texoma in an aba! 17lbs and no largies. Definitely no where my biggest bag but one of my favorites!

Live in Texas, biggest smallmouth is 3 1/2 lbs on Lake Texoma in September of this year. Have also caught them on Belton and a trip to Pickwick a couple of years ago.

2 3/4 smallmouth in Denver Colorado. Highland reservoir & it took me over 20 trips. Huge boat & toy lake with a lot of fishing pressure also. 880 surface acres & million dollar boats. What a waste of your boat.
Never caught one. Fish mostly TB (my home now) occasionally SR, used to fish Fayette all the time and donโt think they have any SMs. Usually turn off Bass and Mlf when they go to SM lakes. Just curious, if I wanted to catch a SM, where should I go for best chance closest to TB? Enjoyed the video as usual, good luck with the new boat.
I live in southeastern Ohio and my largest smallmouth came from the Detroit River at 6lbs 3oz. in 2019 on a TRD.

Iโm from Indiana, biggest smallmouth came from St Clair she was 6lbs.
6.6 got that fat girl in Montana at Coney Reservoir.

I live in DFW area of Texas like you , biggest smallmouth I have caught was 3.5 lbs fishing in the Caddo River in Arkansas.
Biggest in Texas was about 2lbs . Have not fished for them up north but maybe someday.
First of all I am a smallmouth nut. And I get brown fever a lot. I live in N.E. PA. and my location is 2.5hrs to the finger lakes region of New York. I fish Oneida Cayuga Keuka Owasco lakes a lot. But my favorite is eastern basin of lake Ontario and 1000isl a lot. I Can leave my home in the morning and be at Henderson Harbor ny in 3hrs . As far as my biggest smallmouth. 7lbs and followed by a 6.5 on the next cast. Larger bag in a tournament was 21.5 . Want any info on the areas contact me. Brown fever is an addiction

Largest small mouth in Texas was on Belton. Weighed in just over 3. Have caught some big ones on on some northern lakes, But for Texas smallmouth, the Belton lake fish I am most proud of.
