So chatter baits have been around forever it seems. Many companies have improved on the idea, & over the years I have totally started looking to them as a big fish producer. Bladed jigs are also very versatile & have pretty much taken the place of either a jig &/or a spinnerbait in many uses. While the spinnerbait & a regular jig both have uses for me opting for a bladed jigs has really come up in my arsenal. Having caught so many big bass & snakehead on them, I look forward to throwing them every year when it starts to warm up.
I don’t think I like the chatter bait EVO as much as the jackhammer still, but it is a close cheaper replacement. I think for the most part Im going to stick with jackhammer. The current world record snakehead was caught on a custom bladed jig. I thought I recorded myself talking about that. Always open to the next best thing as far as quality on the end of my line.
