This is what I am talking about, Team Blue Dreams wins 2nd place and Big Bass in a Local Boyz Fishing Tournament Sunday October 20, 2024 held out of W G Roe Park on Lake Ship. There were 18 boats in the tournament and I want to give a shout out to my partner Terrell Rose for an awesome tournament and catching the Big Bass of the tournament at 5.4 pounds. I am glad I could drive him around all day, that is about all I was good for. I caught one fish at 1.6 pounds. Terrell would have finished 2nd without me. But I did put him on the fish, it is a team event.
I would also like to thank Devin Pearson and the rest of the crew for putting on the tournament. Theirs is one of the newer tournament series but they had a nice turn out of 18 boats. This was held only a few weeks since hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene.
When Terrell and I started the year, I had 3 goals. 1 – to catch at least one fish in each tournament, we did it in all but 1, our first tournament and it was cold as heck and I don’t do cold. The 2nd goal was to win Big Bass one time, and we did that today. Now of course I want to catch the big bass myself one time, but we did it as a team today, and the 3rd goal was to finish in the money one time, and we did that today as well. So, we killed 2 birds with one stone today. OK, we caught some bass, nothing was killed. All 5 were alive and swimming.
