Teaching the Kids to Wacky-Rig | Evening Bass Fishing After Work
After a long day of work, Brett and Emma talked me into heading down to the pond for a couple hours of fishing from an old dock with nothing more than a few rods and some rubber worms. What started as a quick trip turned into one of those evenings we’ll probably remember for a long time.
We caught a few nice largemouth bass, shared some laughs, fought off the bugs (who were biting better than the fish were), and ended the night by cleaning and frying up fresh fish for supper together. But the highlight of the night was definitely Emma landing what she called her “monster” fish! Some of the best evenings are the ones you almost skip.
Thanks for watching.
