  2. Can I ask what the name of that big silver boney bream looking swimbait is ?
I need some best imitation I have seen of a natural Australian bait fish nice high profile

  3. i dont understand why people have such a low hook up rate with braid. Softbait, glidebait, segmented baits etc no issues. You guys aint trying to set hooks like the bass guys are ya hahaha ?.

  4. American here. I had never heard of a murray cod until YouTuber BigBassDreams went down under and posted some cool footage. What a great species! I hope to catch one some day. Have fun guys

  5. Awesome stuff JC. Very well put together.
I loved the part about dumping braid due to poor hook up rates.
My cod fishing is much different than yours, I still love my braid.
I do however refuse to use braid for my trout fishing. Line stretch is critical with fish that jump and carry on, just as it no doubt is with monster Murray cod.
    Great work mate.
