Swimbait Fishing in Canada

On this day we have Theo C. of Megabass of Canada & Big Bass Dreams Canada on the DREAM Machine with nothing on the deck but BIG Baits (at least to the fishermen from around this part of the world). We spend some time showing Theo the potential on new water where lack of confidence from local fisherman in fishing big baits in general has left populations of big bass unbothered. In just a couple hours time, we get to show our friend Theo just what is possible on lakes he’s been fishing for a long time.

Stay tuned for the follow up video and series as well as content with Canadian specific Big Bass Dreams media coming your way from our team up in the north!

Video has become one of the most valuable learning tools in fishing, as important to learn from as watching “tape” is in any sport. The only thing that beats it is actually LIVING it.

  1. Are there other swimabit rods by megabass that are not 7'11-8ft XH's. Love the megabass stuff, but I'm looking for a rod that is soft enough so it can handle baits like 168-200 glides, slammers, and 6-8 inch softbaits like huddlstons, magdrafts, or baitsmiths.

  2. I've been wanting to get into big swimbait fishing, but I live in Canada and don't know if it's worth it. I'll probably get more pike and maybe even musky instead of big bass if I try to throw big swimbaits…
