  1. Hey, Matt. Really dig your channel… always checking back to see what you're up to. I think some of your regular viewers would love a Blooper Reel.. snags, drifting into brush, etc. Not that its a competition, but something for all of us out here tackling rivers and lakes in our kayaks who feel inept when stood up against your (no doubt edited) escapades. Tight lines, my friend!

  2. Your videos showed up in my feed a few weeks ago. Never fished in my life. You inspired me to try out the sport at 37. I caught my first fish yesterday and what a thrill! Thanks for the great content 🙏

  3. I have to say that you, Richard gene and cole and jay are my fave fishing channels to watch! You are all so wholesome and down to earth and you can see the real joy that fishing brings to you! Would be awesome to meet all you great people💜 😊Fish on!! 🎣

  4. I do not fish, but I do deal with extreme anxiety. I’m sure you realize the impact you have on anglers, but I just wanted to thank you for the peace you give to those who don’t fish. I swear these fish get caught just to meet you. 🤷‍♂️

  5. You said you caught 1 in a 5 hour session that morning. How often do you get skunked? I’m a rookie fisherman and I’m on a skunk streak right now of about 6 trips, approximately 30 hours of fishing.

  6. I know you have to go through some nasty winters to get to the other three seasons, but you sure have some really incredible fisheries that you have access to. You're so blessed. Thank you so much for sharing them with us! That walk down to your fishing spot was pretty steep. Wouldn't want to be the one cutting that grass. I also was kind of amazed at where you set your gear. For me.. that's real snaky looking area. I'd be scared I'd get bit when I went to pick up my backpack, rod or net. Thanks again!

  7. I would love to come from Oklahoma, I lived 22 yrs I illinois and never caught a large pike. It's still my dream. I have lived 35 yrs in California and did a lot of deep sea fishing with my boat. Now I still want that large pike or musky before I die. Can you tell me where to go???

  8. I'm surprised the lure actually has a chance to do its thing. I'd have thought the flow of the river would shoot the lure past his spot faster than I could type this comment.
