Can YouTube help me become a better fisherman? In this episode I try three different baits to see what the bass want. I am still fishing with the KastKing baitcaster. I try a jointed swimbait, a buzzbait, and a squarebill crankbait. I land one small bass and I lose one also. I end up chatting with a local who approaches me to ask about fishing in the area.

Love seeing the leaves fall!!
4:45…must be deer season?
Woah, was this pre Element? Looks like I have way more catching up to do than I thought.
I am a people person but I fucken hate random ass people coming up asking 1,000,000 questions when your trying to fish
That chuckle when the shad jumped on the pier has got to be the most realistic moment in the video. As always, great vid…well maybe not "always," let's keep it realistic.
When I go out to drop a line in the water, it's usually to get away from people, to get that much needed alone time. Peace and quiet, with the occasional fish. Almost every time I go out, some random, weird, creepy guy/gal comes up and starts some awkward, intrusive conversation and will not go away. The whole time they are talking, I'm thinking to myself "I don't care. Go away. Why me?" They then continue to look over my gear/tackle. Makes you feel like you're getting searched and interrogated. Drives me bonkers! Thanks for the video brother.
Nice
What kind of line are you using 🤔
what kind of buzzbait is that?
Your reel reminds me of a squirrel call lol
what do you think of the kast king reel and what model do you have?
Really appreciate you showing the number of casts it often takes to get a strike. With other fishing shows it looks like every 3 or 4 casts they catch a fish. I have yet to see anyone that doesn't get professional overrun or more commonly called backlashes.
+1 in my book. This is REALISTIC fishing. I have many days where I catch none.
can u use a spincast reel for crankbaits
You need a spook!😂 great video
good stuff man you got my sub for sure!!
Do you use a trailer hook on a buzzbait?
2 on the square bill man way to go. Always fun to watch you're videos.
where are you fishing at I live in tn also
Keep trying the swimbait, I can't wait to see you catch one off it! Another awesome vid brother and way to change up until you found the right bait!
Really enjoy Ur videos. good to know that iam not the only one who has a rough day on the water. keep up the good work.
I just got that same squarbill. I am about 3 videos behind right now so I will show my results soon but they seem to like it. Great video.
Great video!!!! I have the same shad swimbait and I never have any luck on it even though I know they are eating shad where I fish jigs and crankbaits seem to work the best for me
Rarely do you loose a fish with crank baits…Hey tell that man you are fishing and filming!! quiet on the set!! (smile) good job homiee!!
Cool video that's the struggle that people don't share.
Buzz baits are good like right after the sun comes up or right before dark
I had a chatty gentlemen come up to me yesterday while I was trying to make that new pond video at the park. They mean no harm but it is a real distraction when you are fighting wind like I was. I went to answer a question he ask and got the biggest backlash of the day. He then ask me if baitcasters got tangled like that all the time. It was so bad I had to cut the line. What I didn't tell him was, that was my first backlash all day and it ended up being my last one. In fact I had not ever had one on the new Ardent reel before. Oh well the joys of bank fishing in a public park. 😜
I love your intro. so original
Good video as always!

I'm glad you were nice and answered the mans obvious question. Nice lures.
When they're pushing shad like that, a good thing to try is a spook or fluke or casting spoon. With the spook cast just past the Blowup and work it through. The fluke right in it and work it real slow. Senkos too.
Lol using some of ur tips fishing right now
Nice 👍🏻 video man! I just caught my first couple of jig fish while flipping, I like doing the same thing trying new baits is always fun and challenging. Keep up the cool videos.
very picturesque scenery indeed my friend! Lookout realistic is in the house and the fish are jumping right into his hands.. Lol. "What are You Fishing for?" Because I Like it!!!
Im still looking for my first buzzbait and hard swimbait bass. Nice work man.
always enjoy watching your videos. they make a swimbait that has a magnet on the belly it prevents the hooks from getting tangles. good luck!
Good video
Cool video man!!! I was trying some type of jig bait today, I was using it for about 5 hours I got nothing with it. I've got a few other lures I'm going to try over the next couple of months. I've never caught anything on a lure I'm trying though. Your videos inspire me so keep them coming!!!!!
Good stuff, I always enjoy your perspective.
