Super RARE Japanese Swimbait Fishing Rods?! DRT Artex Series!

In todays video, we are geeking over some amazing Japanese swimbait rods from DRT called the Artex Series! My good friend Kazuki has an entire set of all 6 Artex rods and he breaks down each one and tells us the specifics of the rods! As a JDM fan and huge DRT fanboy, getting to see and fish these rods were a dream!

  1. Geoff, great stuff. Can you list up the specs on the rod that you discuss at the 8:00 mark at the end of the video? Since I can't find it anywhere and I don't live in Japan, I'd really like to spec out something close from North Fork Composites.

  2. I love DRT baits but what's the point to presenting these rods that only some very few lucky individuals can eventually get? It's just like they do not exist. I would definitely pay the retail on an ADX, but 3 to 4 times the msrp is insane, more than the price of a small s/h car. I own 3 DRT x Tulala Remix rods, they were expensive as hell coming off the black market in Japan, but these Artex prices set by scalpers are just ridiculous.

  3. Those rods cost around 2000-3000 USD used on Japan auction site. That is ridiculous. I love DRT stuff and I really want those rods, but damn are they hard to get. No, they are impossible to get!

  4. Man that would be sick to get to use those rpds with DRT BAITS. After loving to fish since childhood and being ate up with bass fishing for the past 6-7 years i have 2 dedicated swimbaot setups. One for treble hook baits and another for big plastic swimbaits and I find myself buying less conventional tackle and more big baits and unique baits. U blame you bruh.. lol keep the content rolling!
