Sunset FISHING CARLSBAD LAGOON | Calico Bass | DROP SHOT | PADDLETAIL FINESSE

Had a little time, so made a quick video and got some tight line time. Conditions were calm. Very low tide to start. Had a few bites but nothing for the first hour. After the tide change I was able to get 2 small guys. Love being out there, especially at sunset.

  1. You’re correct about the tides…
Because the fish are relatively smaller I’ve been using my ultra light spinning gear with 4# mono test straight to a Texas rigged swim bait or in the surf the 1/4 ounce kastmaster spoons…
Caught about 50 6” perch on a recent session 😂🍻
