Summer Bass Fishing without expectations
Today’s trip started with high hopes, throwing a topwater swimbait and a chatterbait around the front dock looking for an early bite. The fish weren’t cooperating, but the sunrise and quiet summer morning made it worth sticking around.
As the day went on, I stayed patient and kept covering water with the chatterbait. Even though the bite stayed slow, I eventually found a couple of bass and was reminded that fishing has a way of rewarding patience. Sometimes the best days come when you stop expecting anything and simply enjoy being on the water.
