Summer Bass Fishing Lures for a Cold Front

Bass fishing during the summer with a cold front can be a challenge. Expect to catch fewer big fish, but you can still catch lots of bass. This video takes place on Magician Lake in southern Michigan during a bass fishing tournament sponsored by The Tackle Shack in Middlebury, Indiana. Normally Magician produces big largemouth and smallmouth bass, but very few of them were caught on this day.

Jeremy Bunnell and I managed a top 5 finish with a small 5-fish limit, but we caught a lot of fish. This video shows the fishing lures we used to finish towards the top.
