They wont be legal to catch or keep cause the way that alot of the asains do they violate the laws they catch them and keep them sell the eggs from the females as caviar they ruin it for us Americans sorry its what i have seen.
They really need to reconsider the aize and bag limit of striper to save the native fish population, it is a start. Striper compete with sturgeon, and the are better designed predator fish. Itll definitely help the salmon population. Nice catch, i havent fished for sturgeon in over ten years, and dont think i ever will again, unless its a bicatch.

Right On! I believe it's AI though cause DFG said sturgeon are in decline and threatened so it's a fake catch. Impressive nonetheless!
