You really had a beautiful day in October, so you were already a winner, even if you got nothing. Then you had some excitement too! That's what it's all about! IMO, October is a Great Fishing month!
its crazy how the camera mic picks up the braided line noise. sounds like your reel is gonna explode. When the blues are around, we use 100lb mono for live lining. It's heavy and kinda sucks to tie knots with but helps land more fish. Always enjoy your videos, that's a great morning spot where you were ✌
This is a nice spot to fish, I was out by Knapp street and it’s similar but nothing was hitting today at all. L.I fishing still going strong. It has slowed down in my area of Brooklyn.
Caught a few blitzes as well today. Skip a popper through there – they'll demolish it. First time this fall I've gotten a blue in the back in our area.
So my favorite golf water hazard behind my house now has an alligator as a tenant since the hurricane hit earlier this month. And as a result I haven’t had a single catch. I’m guessing he’s been feasting on the bass it normally holds 😬
