Striped Bass Fishing Tips, New Rig, Exploring Tide Pools

Wasn’t sure if I was going to upload this video since the new rig didn’t work, but here it is anyway. Caught 4 Stripers almost 5 but one got away. Released all of them. Didn’t want the vid to go to waste so we explored some tide pools and got an unexpected hit far away from where we were! Hope you enjoy.

  1. Jesus dude..don't EVER step on a fish if your going to let it go. You have no idea how much pressure your putting on it's internal organs. That's a bad habit you have. Can't believe you do that on camera . Thumbs down .

  2. 3 baited hooks and a striped bass in possession = a potential fine!!! two baited hooks is the limit. You also could get a fine for having mu;multiple rods with three hooks. Rigged to the pole alone is technically a fine. Perch wise no problem ,but species including striped bass, rock fish, ling cod… all require that you use 1 rod and no more than two baited hooks. Perch wise you can use multiple rods but once you hands touch a striper you have to reduce to 1 rod. Seen several get a fat fine not aware.
