Striped Bass Fishing – Fall RUN FUN Beach Stripers – Long Island Striper. Lots of striped bass and casting and a few striper. It was a full day of whales, shad, boats and bunker about 2 miles out. Probably a million striper swimming around. Know it is just a matter of time before a pod darts through. And they did. Action can come quick and sporadic when the fish are offshore so be sure to get your casts in. Take a hula break but get back to fishing between and score a few nice striper.

Great day fishing. Whale watchers call the mist a whale exhales a "blow". Most likely a humpback whale.
