The Rapala Shad Rap is one to keep in mind. 3/4 silver/black my pref for shad imitator. $7-8 each so doesn't break the bank or give you major red ass if you snag up and break off. They get bit pretty much all year long with the right approach. Lipless in my top 5 baits for sure.
