While driving through Virginia I wanted to stop and do some wading to test out a new plopper lure from @heddonlures The Spin N Image was just released and I wanted to see if it was any good.

I have a question what line do you use also what pound should I use for creeks and why do you prefer yellow line?
Don’t real while fish is taking drag..it’s why your line is twisting..you have some fine land and waters..crazy good.
What size fluke did you start with?
I gotta try that first hook setup you have, that looks fun and effective.
So refreshing to watch. The sounds of birds makes it so peaceful. God bless.🙏
Serious rack on that Buck. Hopefully his leg heals up.
Great video John. Was just noticing at 11;15 in the center of the screen that log looks just like a mans face with a beard. I see his nose eyes and mouth lol.
Need to remember where that spring is because on the super hot days the fish will all around that spot
Hey man, I’m from PA and do a lot of the same kind of fishing wading in the creeks. Just wanted to say I LOVE your content. I envy your ability to get out there and get the line in the water to often! Keep it up man!
Them smallmouth fight hard
Blue Heron.
If I aas you I would go back to the folk. With the way there hiting it.Also the hock will hock them better tgen hockes on tgat top water hock.
Great video, I live in southeastern Virginia along the coast of the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. We have a lot of creeks, small lakes and decent rivers within an hour's drive, but I don't recall any of those being as isolated as the one you fished in this video. I enjoyed it very much! Take care and be safe.
Check out EHD symptoms in deer. They go to water and get lame. Not sure if you have it down there. Mostly cwd up here.
Great work John love all yer vids but these “back to yer roots” simple creek fishing ones are the best!
Found this channel about a month ago. Really enjoying it and I’ve been eyeing up some creeks to try out myself. I appreciate the Bible verses at the end of the videos also.
Sure was a pretty creek but maybe better if it was bow or rifle season with all those deer. Honestly I never get tired of that, had an 8 point velvet buck posted up where I was going to get out and quickly decided he wasn't moving for a reason. The added topwater blow-ups were a plus. Thanks for sharing brother. Blessings John
Awesome adventure John! Thanks again 😎
Noted… this fall I’ll be tromping through the water as my hunting tactic. Poor bucks they looked so gimpy
You fish great locations.
Virginia is for (smallmouth fishing) lovers !♥ LOL ! Pap Blevins
The great thing about topwater is you dont have to catch them , the best part is the bite anyways
