Let’s face it, jerkbaits are one of the most popular lures for winter bass fishing. And while they can be highly effective, they can also provide a false sense of confidence to the anglers who use them. And there are days when even the mighty jerkbait proves ineffectual at catching bass. In this video, we’ll look at some alternatives you should consider in order to break out of your jerkbait rut! #fishing #bassfishing #fishingtips

It's pretty hard to beat an old school wiggle wart in watermelon color!!!
Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy the day!
When I'm not in the boat, I'm fishing the bank on a small pond. I always fish the rock dam. My bait: a tube, and a 1/4 ounce and 3/8 ounce jig. That's all i use because that's all i need. Joe
Thanks LowBrow for the tips. That’s good to hear again. I appreciate the info very much.
Thanks LowBrow great jerkbait tips bud
Your first paragraph said it all when you said " yup, they're out in the middle!" Us bank fishermen can put our stuff away as we can't reach the middle. We will have to wait until Spring, when the bass start coming out of their Winter haunts.
I have caught bass before using a jerk-bait but, I couldn't tell you when the last time it was that I caught anything on a Jerk-Bait. It's been that long ago.
I couldn't even tell you how long it's been that I fished a Jerk-Bait, even though I do have two or three different Jerk-Baits in my stash.
Ball head jigs with grubs and minners done me good most of my life.
Ned rigs and wacky rigs are best from the bank. Easy to use and catch lots of fish! Thanks for another awesome video LB!
I get frustrated when I see bass chasing bait just under the surface and can't get a bite on a jerkbait. I probably use them too long before changing but it's a hard habit to break.
It was cold and windy two days ago when I went to the lake. Still caught 3 fish. Even though I was freezing I kept fishing
Thanks for the great tips LB! Haven't done good with jerkbaits last month or so. Makes sense that base get used to them.
I started using small 2 hook jerkbaits from the bank recently and caught some fish. But it's always smart to have options.
