I've have my best lure Striper days with the sneaky and pistol Pete but also the most frustrating due to garbage stock hooks. Lesson: Make sure to set your drag to the weakest link

I’ve thrown the Pistol Pete in the bone color Striper fishing in the American River Sacramento. I’ve heard that big stripers love the bone color, which is always sold out. Have yet to catch anything using it but the GRatt pistol Pete and Sneaky Pete are legendary for catching big stripers in the American and Sacramento Rivers in my area.
On the feather and sacramento glide baits like garretts catch monster striper tell him to take you to the river…
Congrats on your swimbait endeavor. Even with 7 children, I look forward to having the patience and the stamina to throw such a robust bait throughout the day. That said, watching this video has given me a small bit of inspiration
