Spotted Bay Bass Fishing NEW SPOT With LOCAL LURE — Huntington Harbor [Huntington Beach, CA]

After six videos, I finally produced a full video from intro to outro! On top of learning how to create intros/outros, I took on the challenge of fishing a new spot! Not only was it a new spot, it was my first catch in Huntington Beach, CA and furthest south I’ve caught any bay bass yet. I’ll definitely explore Huntington Harbor (Huntington Harbour?) some more in the future. However, none of the above could have been possible without Skunk Busters Lure Company busting the skunk for me! I want to get to know the SoCal fishing community and shopping local lures was my start. Everybody has one spot they could never figure out, right? Well, cop some Skunk Busters and bust your skunk!

  1. if a spottie takes you into the rocks, just give your line a little slack and wait them out. they dont want to stay in there, and will bolt out as soon as they think the coast is clear.

  2. Thanks for the video. Your enthusiasm for spotty’s and in-shore SW is great. While SP Swimbaits are a popular spotty bait, I have found that bottom contact baits are more consistent when bank fishing. Have you ever fished Jigs?
