Spinnerbait FISHING in the Wind | Springtime KAYAK BASS Fishing!

Hey there…I’m Marco/SLBASSIN. We fished one of 10 lakes here in northern Illinois targeting some pre-spawn largemouth bass. We ended the day with 10+ fish, and water temperatures are rising, which means the bass are starting to move up shallow.

The primary bait that I used to catch lagemouth bass was the Megabass SV-3 Spinnerbait. Since the conditions were windy, we targeted pockets holding baitfish and also fished shallow areas. The Native Watercraft Slayer Max 10 Propel handled the wind well, and the peddle drive helped me position myself against the wind.

The NK180 by Newport Vessels has been a game changer, and has allowed me to fish larger bodies of water, and cover water quickly.

Although we didn’t catch any giant largemouth bass, we still had loads of fun. Sit back, and enjoy this kayak bass fishing vide!
