What a session this turned out to be!

Fishing from the shore in West Wales, I headed out in some pretty lively conditions with a strong onshore breeze, a decent swell and spring tides. There was plenty of activity in the water and, before long, it turned into one of those rare sessions where at times it felt like a bite a cast.
I managed a nice bass, congers and several bull huss, including a new PB bull huss of 10lb 4oz!

Because the fishing was so busy and I was on my own, I didn’t capture everything as well as I would have liked — at times I even dropped down to one rod just to keep up with what was happening! But hopefully the footage gives you a taste of what was genuinely one of my favourite fishing sessions.
