FFS is a 2D image of a 3D world. If you see a fish on the screen, then that fish is somewhere in the width of your sonar cone. Your chances of getting a hook in that fish may be better than without FFS, but I think Todd’s money is safe.

Never snagged one but with an a rig I can run some fish over. And not sure if they re bass but sometimes I can feel me hit a fishy with and a rig and watch it on livescope.
I love this idea kudos Todd ! When Randy Blauket started this I asked myself how many times have I "snagged" a bass on a jerkbait without ffs. Most times that happens to me, isn't that normal?

Yes we have stupid rules in CA, but have spoken to DFG, they dont enforce that rule and a lot of tournaments don't enforce it other then when bedfishing. But it is a stupid rule. Just like they want to claim bass are evasive in the CA delta, yet at the same time they are protected as a sportfish.
If I could choose the time and place I’d do it. Of course I generally snag a there without ffs. They got pretty thick and lethargic in winter areas on our tidal waters.
Hell let’s just start using live bait in tournaments and umbrella rigs with single hooks no rules anything goes foul hooking ok six transducers ok fishing on top of one another ok no lie detectors
There should be one standard for all tournaments pro—- semi pro and the local and everyone fellow those rules tired of this tennis match that’s going on people treat each other with respect while on and off the water and enjoy what the good lord has provided for us the freedom to do such as bass fishing
