In this video, I hit the Shenandoah River in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia for some spring smallmouth bass fishing while wade fishing one of my favorite river stretches. My goal was to see how several Nikko Baits would perform on river smallmouth bass, and the results did not disappoint!

The standout bait of the day was the Nikko Hellgrammite, which produced my biggest smallmouth bass of the year so far—a beautiful 18-inch Shenandoah River smallmouth bass!
