I’m going silent but deadly drop shot fishing for late spring largemouth bass at Lake Cachuma. Because of the spawn, springtime is a great time to target these bass, and finesse fishing with a drop shot rig is one of the most effective ways to catch them. I’ll show you my favorite drop shot bass setup and baits, including the Keitech Easy Shiner swimbait to tempt these largemouth bass into biting. There’s even a mystery bait, which I’ve fallen in love with because it just catches fish – whether bass or trout.
