Should This Be ILLEGAL In Bass Fishing Tournaments?!

Should this be illegal in bass fishing tournaments? Today we are going through my first MLF toyota series event fishing on lake Champlain. This was a spawn tournament with most of the fish on beds so we utilized a flogger to catch a lot of our fish throughout the event. While some people may think its cheating this technique is actually a very difficult way to fish and this was an awesome learning experience for me.
