NPFL tarnished their opportunity first year when they didn’t pay their winners. Yes they made up for that like 6 months later. But thats sketchy. Second season was mediocre and those anglers in the NPFL got owned by BASS anglers thats came for a quick check.
Next year NPFL has a another opportunity to capitalize on anglers looking for a new home. Will they jump on that chance or shit the bed is yet to be seen. Of course, if they do get big names, it won’t take long for the money to corrupt the league as we’ve seen with BASS and MLF.
Definitely the NPFL. The league is on their way up and better than the gauntlet that is the Opens. It should be considered as a bridge league for the anglers on their way out of MLF.
Why not they need to make a living to or make a new tour . So they can make a living also have pros involved in the rules and make it a better pay out and have more TV and every year start with 100 pros co-anglers than the top 75 stay and 25 go and required to go back down and try again the next year tournaments and have no good old boys club and make your own way with sponsors and I don't to make you a star you do that on yours own by being yourself
NPFL is popular with Anglers but not with public is what i see as the big issue. Can't sustain big payouts without some big sugardaddies.
