  1. Locks keep honest people honestly, somewhat reassured that some protection is being used during this Escalade of exposure to how common infractions unaware to others an swept, under the carpet,

  2. Polygraph? It’s ridiculous! Professional fishing is becoming a bad joke. Marshal-Weigh-Release….geesh it’s so stupid. I know lemonade stands that are ran better than the professional fishing organizations.

  3. Do away with the poly AND the no info rule. No info in to subjective and as stated nearly impossible to prove/disprove. Eliminated the encounter on the dock where a kid shouts, "I caught 10 ooff the end of that dock yesterday." However, make the top 5 or 10 anglers sign sworn statements that they abided by all the rules of the organization…. maybe spell out some specifics. And that if at a later time it was determined that they had violated said rules, then all winnings shill be forfieted back to the organization.

  4. Ok so I will go over how a proper polygraph exam should be given and if done properly there are no deceptive questions and you will see what I mean when I go through it but 1st I will say that if you have no other evidence and I mean some stern evidence I would never and I mean never just go on a polygraph. If you do this, especially at the professional level you leave yourself open for a lawsuit and a relatively easy one for the angler to win. So how does a polygraph work? Without getting into some technical crap basically the person administering the test will get a base line, in other words he or she will ask you some very easy questions, things like your name is —–, you are this age—–, etc. All of these questions will be yes or no questions. Once a base line is established that person will ask you a series of questions read off of a paper and it will be read in a specific way and will not vary from that. These questions will all pertain to rules. In the series of questions they will ask the base line questions also. All of this will take place and the test has not even really started. Now, that person is going to tell you "now we are starting the test "and they will ask some questions from the base line and some from the list of rules. At no time will the sentences of the questions ever vary. By the way all of this should be explained to you before they ever connect you up. There should be no surprises and no variations of the questions. A good polygraphist can tell if someone is being deceptive and they will hold their ground on their decision. Polygraphs are a tool and that is it. IT should be use to help point you in a direction but it should not be your sole source of determining someone's faith. What is sad is that fact that we have to use this in fishing tournaments. It is an unfortunate circumstance that we have some assholes in this sport and they screw it up for everyone but it is what it is ,and we can just hope that they get weeded out one by one.

  5. Ive never been a fan especially since they are inadmissible in court.
Plus, the accuracy of polygraphs have been subject of debate since its inception.
And you are correct, the wording of questions will determine outcome results.
Too misleading all the way around.
