Bass fishing at Shadow Cliffs in Pleasanton, California was absolutely INSANE! Over 2 days of fishing, I hit Shadow Cliffs Lake, Island Ponds, and Boris Lake chasing big largemouth bass—and the bites did NOT stop.

I caught one solid bass, but had so many missed bites and short strikes it was unreal… and I almost landed my PERSONAL BEST before it spit the bait right at the last second 😭

🔥 What worked best:
• Black & Blue Creature Bait (BUG style) – got the most bites
• Chatterbait – triggered aggressive strikes

The weather was perfect, the conditions were right, and the bass were active—but getting them fully hooked was the challenge!
