Thank you, Randy! That segment was just loaded with great fishing advice!
Anyone use frogs this time of year? I had good luck on q frog the other morning
Short and sweet and solid context. Thanks Randy
Thanks for the great info. When it comes to fishing I’m about as lost as last year’s Easter egg and have only caught two fish this year. A 3 inch brim and a small mouth that I lost on shore… lol
Smallmouth fishing in the North isn't real world fishing ? Lol….OKAY…every body of water up here has both types of bass. Maybe you just don't want to give tips on smallmouth in September because your not sure ? Anyway, anyone that's a good smallmouth angler is typically a good or excellent largemouth angler. That's real world info.
Thanks Randy. Good line up. I like the smaller cranks and buzzbaits but I fish alot of tidal. 1/4oz rattletrap should start playing soon also.
i'm either really early or really late
"Perch" = green sunfish, I assume?
#4 a small salt and pepper senko with a keith poche power spinner on the back.
But when you find them in the mid to late sept. You can smoke them
Randy, I love your videos, but the way yall do the personal lake map breakdowns… I've tried since early spring to get one. Unless I'm able to reply to an email from yall within a very short amount of time, I'm out of luck. I didn't know it worked like that, so for months I just sat & waited my turn. Nope, found out yall send a mass email, whoever replies first gets the breakdown. That's not feasible for a working man. Why is there not a list, & just go down the list? It seems crazy that I keep having to put my name in the pot, HOPING I'll be able to respond to your email in time.
What’s you talking about that smallies don’t count. They’re just a hard as the other Bass in September. Thanks for the tips.
I caught two this morning and missed three all on the Lunkerhunt spider in the Poison color. So far Sept hasn't been too hard for me but I'm fishing a big retention pond. Caught 5 the other day in two hours.
Thanks Randy.
Awesome video I appreciate learning from your videos everytime and that is what I enjoy the most as a very young angler and YouTuber so being able too learn something everytime is just amazing keep it up 👍
I fish a lot of lakes in OK and fishing has honestly been better for us this month. August was really hot. They are setting up in weed beds close in proximity to a creek channel at my favorite lakes. Was tearing them up Sunday on trick worms and squarebills
Fishing up north for Smallmouth is not the real world of fishing? Can you please elaborate on what you meant by the statement?
How can you tell the angle of the bank? You mentioned flatter banks less than a 45° angle. How can the average person tell the angle of the drop off?
I really like a football finesse jig on bluff walls this time of year been running that pattern the last couple weeks on my own leg and slaying on them as well as you can slay on them in September. I have noticed a big drop off in my catch rates starting to slow down fish are spread out.
Why is smallmouth "not the real world of fishing"?
Great video and very informative. However, I feel that finding the perfect lure is less important than nailing your techniques down and mapping the lake by fishing it. A great lure doesn't make a great angler, quite the opposite.
After 7 years of keeping records, September is definitely my toughest month. Thanks Randy
Good tip Randy….love the buzzbait bite in the Fall
I try to never take your tips for granted
Nice video. I'm mainly do kayak fishing. This morning I started by tying on a buzz bait, squarebill, swim jig, and hollow frog. Fished the buzzbait in a lot of the right spots with no bites. Ended up catching 5 on the squarebill but I never fished it where I threw the buzz. Impatient and trying to cover water in a kayak I guess.
Caught one on a finesse jig with a little rage craw for a trailer this morning off the lily pads.
Thanks for sharing those tips!!👊🏻 Will definitely keep those in mind the next several weeks!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!
December or Jan something is harder. Cold. All you need a lipless, a topwater, and a EZ Shiner. Hey, who am I?
Great video!
Great suggestions! I'll keep on throwin a worm just because of confidence in it.
All great baits , especially the smaller jigs . Sorry Randy, I throw
the strke king square bill cranks 🤭
Ha ! They do a great job also 👍
GOOD INFO!! Thanks, Randy!!
Caught a nice 5lb bass this morning on a jig with trailer up in the shallows!!
Another great Tips Video, Randy! You've really been busy pumping out the videos, and I watch every one of them. Truly appreciate all your work and contributions.
Do you add a trailer to your buzzbait in September?
Next video you should do is the weirdest funniest bait names lol
Randy does this also apply to deep east Texas or does this apply to later in the year
Thanks Randy. I'll try these.
