  1. I have that leopard colored frog that’s all black from what the fridge sees. They do NOT take on water. At all and they nEver sink. They stand upright but I’m wondering if I should be walking this frog cuz it walks differently than others. That tungsten weight is awesome keeping it upright.

  2. I order a bunch of them last week but because they are on back order I'm looking at least a month. I do better with smaller frogs in open water but I'm thinking these will be a killer on pads ..

  3. Oh man!!!! What a tease! I thought we were gonna see some top water blowups. Them frogs look sick!! Nice colors. Can't wait to see the catches.
    Let's go!👍🏽👊🏽💪🏾🎣🐟

  4. There are so many frogs to choose from there might be some small advantages from some models to others. If fish are eating walking frogs they might be a better choice. But frogs with hard paddle tails work too. Frogs with soft bodies and sit deeper in the water get better hook ups opposed to higher floating ones. Small frogs may not cast as far however, they often catch more fish and bass have an easier time sucking them in. If bass are blasting thru weeds to hit frogs the high floating models often pop into the air and bass miss them most of the time. If the occasional Pike, Pickerel, Musky, Snake head or Bowfin hits a hollow body frog they rip them to shreds. This makes using baits like Z-Man ElaZtech frogs, ultra-mouse, ultra-frog, Pop-Shad-Z a better choice. Zoom toads are another good choice also. Toads that sink work much better when fishing pads and weed mats because you can pull them across thick spots and let them sink into open spots and bass hit them like a freight train. Pulled over pads bass track them and when you drop them off the edge there waiting to smoke them. Lots of times if you just wait for the line to move off after a strike the bass come back to eat a toad that is sinking to the bottom. Fishing frogs is more than just using floating ones all the time. Just food for thought. Frogs start out as tadpoles too, can you tell I like frogs.

  5. Those upturned hooks though. I can just see them dragging into the water chestnuts weeds in my area. I haven’t found the perfect frog yet for water chest nuts. The bigger profile ones tend to get hit more, but only nose bumped for me. the smaller ones don’t weigh down in the mats as much and don’t seem to get their attention. So far have had better luck with soft plastic toads.
