Ran into this 100 million year old species while bass fishing. It was in fact a longnose gar, a whole school of them actually. Just there sunbathing in the shallow weed flat. It was a pretty cool fishing day on the water with Tabs. She’s loving every second we spend on the water, which is awesome!
